The opportunity for activity on and around Wax Cay is extensive. A hiking trail winds along the full length of the 125-acre private island, skirting secluded beaches offering exercise and exploration. For the more adventurous, the area is ideal for sports fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, and kiteboarding. A quick boat trip to the neighboring Exuma Land and Sea Park reveals even more to discover.
Dining & Bar
The heart of the Island is the centrally located bar and dining room, offering a warm and inviting space, suitable for hosting a large gathering of family and friends, or a quiet meal for two. Surrounded by wooden decks with teak furniture, the location is a perfect place to entertain and to enjoy the island’s exquisite sunsets.
East End Pavilion
Our east end pavilion overlooks the Atlantic and is a great location for a variety of events such as weddings and other celebrations. Or start your day by rejuvenating your mind and body with a morning yoga session. It is the perfect place to take in the beautiful views and to watch the sun rise and set.
Retreat To Your Villa
A blend of the exotic and comfortable, the villas on Wax Cay are simply one of a kind. The structures have been built using hand carved antique Vietnamese frames that were disassembled in Vietnam and re-assembled on Wax Cay. The rustic elegance of these buildings adds to the mystique of the island.
Day Trips
The Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park was the world’s first protected area of its kind. This 176-square-mile park is known for its pristine beauty, outstanding anchorages and breathtaking marine environment.
